We offer the flexibility of a walk-in service, ensuring that however hectic your schedule, you can always get your hair cut at your own convenience.
Upon arrival, you will be assisted by a member of our friendly reception team. You will find a supply of the latest magazines and daily newspapers in our reception area ensuring that your time with us is comfortable.
We offer a variety of styling techniques, including traditional and modern cuts .
We use the highest quality designer finishing products by Michael Whelan’s Hair Care. These products are available for purchase from our salon.
We offer a non-appointment walk-in service for barber services. An appointment will be required for colouring in order that we can provide you with the level of service required to meet your needs.

Bringing your children to Whelan’s Hairdressing & Barbers is both convenient for you and fun for them.
By using our non-appointment service, it means you can fit your child’s haircut around your own busy life.
All children will be offered a lollipop afterwards.
The same designer finishing products are used on the children as on the adults by Michael Whelan’s Hair Care to make the visit extra special, after each hair cut, children are offered coloured spray in a variety of colours and glitters, free of charge.
We also stock a wide range of colour and glitter hair sprays, by Hair Colour, which are great for special occasions and parties. ** Washes out with shampoo. We do not advise that these products are used on bleached, dyed or permed hair. People with fine hair or light blonde hair should proceed with caution and test a small area first.
